To further implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and accelerate the development of China's reproductive health industry, the Third Meeting of the President and the Third Meeting of the Standing Council of the China Association of Reproductive Health Industries were held in Anhui from February 15 to 17.

The meeting was attended by Yi Hua, President of the China Association of Reproductive Health Industries; Li Xiaoyu, Vice President and Secretary-General; Chen Shui, Vice President; and other representatives including Yuan Xiaofeng, Cheng Jianxian, and Lin Fok Yuan. The sessions were chaired by Yi Da and Li Xiaoyu.
At the meeting, the President delivered a working report titled "Toward a New Stage of Development in China's Reproductive Health Industry." He noted that 2023 marks the first year of full implementation of the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and a key year for laying the foundation for the comprehensive building of a modern socialist country.
Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Association will continue to strengthen Party building and organizational development, and will promote high-quality growth in the reproductive health industry on the new journey ahead.
In 2023, the Association will continue advancing several key initiatives, including the Preparatory Committee for the China Auxiliary Reproductive Science Forum, training and certification for reproductive health counselors, the Asia Forum of the International Reproductive Health Supply Alliance, Healthy China reproductive health promotion programs, quality-birth initiatives, global standardization of reproductive health, and a number of public-interest projects in central and western China.
The Association aims to build a new development model driven by industry wisdom, self-reliance, and diversified momentum, and to push China's reproductive health industry to a new level with higher standards, a broader vision, and more advanced ideas.
In his closing remarks, the President emphasized that new ideas will open a new journey, and called on everyone to stay closely aligned with the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, to move forward with determination, fully achieve the goals set for 2023, focus on high-quality industrial development, and contribute to the building of a modern socialist country and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
